Birdeye Pages

The SEO boost for every location

PagesCover.png

BRIEF

Birdeye Pages is the newest addition to the Birdeye experience marketing platform. It is a custom directory built for any industry, allowing a business to easily create and manage individual web pages for all of their providers or locations at scale. Birdeye Pages are branded pages that are customized to match the business' website.

Similar to Birdeye Profiles, Birdeye Pages contain information specific to the provider (healthcare) or location (physical storefront), while incorporating other Birdeye products such as Reviews and Webchat. With Birdeye reviews, Pages display online reviews from over 150 sites. With Webchat, customers can engage the business right on the site, asking questions, setting up appointments, and more.

Originally built for Optum Health, Birdeye Pages has been expanded into a full-fledged product that works for any multi-location business in any industry.

  • (Phase 1) Create a custom, searchable doctor directory for Optum Health for their open enrollment period

  • (Phase 2) Create customizable components and layouts that can be built on a professional service basis that can scale into the financial service, restaurant, automotive, and other industries

  • (Phase 2) Integrate existing products, such as Webchat, into Pages

BirdEye is a pre-IPO startup, so a large portion of my work is under NDA. The following is a small taste of the plethora of work I create everyday. If you would like to see more, let's get in touch!

MY ROLE

I was the lead product designer on this project, creating the end-to-end experience of Birdeye Pages: the product itself, the website product page, and any other go-to-market assets (emails, ads, and more).

In building the product, I worked with a project manager and the VP of design. The first iteration was created in less than a day and released for Optum within the same week. Phase 2, which you see here, was created about a month later in the timeline of about a week.

For the go-to-market assets, I worked with the Director of Product Marketing and completed everything within a single week sprint.

RESULTS SO FAR

"Birdeye Pages provides an easy to use experience that gives our users the ability to find the right provider quickly. The speed to market and flexibility of the Birdeye team helped us accomplish our goals in a very short period of time and we were able to launch this tool in time for our critical sales period."

-Elaine Keehr, Marketing Campaign Manager, Optum

MOBILE

Birdeye Pages was designed mobile first. Below is the example user flow from Lumen Healthcare's homepage to arriving on a doctor's profile page. As over 70% of traffic was on mobile, special care was made to have the CTA's front and center, elegantly displayed as the third most important information after the doctor and rating.

WEBCHAT

The integration of Birdeye Webchat was an important differentiator against other similar directory sites. A small chat bubble in the bottom right corner of every doctor profile would allow users to conveniently get in touch with the office through the channel they use most - text. Webchat also includes Birdeye's chatbot, Robin, to answer common questions, such as "Where are you located?" or "What are your hours?".

Below are the screens accounting for each different case. If an agent was available, the user and the office could communicate via live chat. The office manager could also forward the message to other members of her team and leave notes as needed. If an agent was unavailable, a message and text number was displayed, so the user still could get in contact with the office. Finally, if the office received a message after hours, an automated message would explain that it was after hours and that someone would help them when the office opened.

END TO END DESIGN

After creating Birdeye Pages from 0 to 1 for Optum Health, then overhauling the entire product into customizable components, I also created all go-to-market assets for the larger launch of Birdeye Pages. This included ads, emails and the product page for the website, which you can see below.
